The Palacete del Embarcadero, whose silhouette is today the icon of the Institution's logo, was the first in the list of border buildings, on the land-sea boundary, (Maritime Station, Cabo Mayor Lighthouse) in which after its rehabilitation or redevelopment, the Port Authority of Santander has expressed and expresses with greater intensity its civic will and its cultural commitment, inherent to its status as an Institution and whose foundation is the growth and enrichment of this port city.
