The procedure for the tender of the work of the Break 9 of Raos began in 2009, but the change of the regulations on environmental impact forced the port to request a report from the Ministry, then of the environment, rural and marine environment on the Environmental impact declaration of said project. Once the consultation is resolved, the port of Santander will begin a new tender procedure of the works of the dock 9 in which the considerations established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment in said report will have been included in the project, and to which All companies that occurred in 2009 will be called to participate.
On the other hand, on July 30, offers will be opened for the works of the increase in draft at the pier 1 of Raos. The project budget is approximately 9.5 million euros and will have an execution period of nine months. With this action the draft will be increased by 2 meters by 300 meters, from -13.00 to -15.00 meters.
