The Naviera Finnlines begins to operate weekly from Santander-Press NOTE (07/11/2013)

The Finnkraft ship, of the Finnlines shipping company made its first scale in Santander, and as is traditional in these cases, the captain received from the director of the PHC, Cristina Lopez Arias, a commemorative metopa.
Finnlines, the Finnish shipping company of the Grimaldi group, has opened a new line that connects the Baltic, since Finland, and Spain, via Great Britain in the descent traffic, while in the climb it does it for France and again Great Britain to reach Finland and Russia (St. Petersburg).
The service, initially destined for paper import traffic after the important agreements reached with the UPM Kymmenne and Stora Enzo Person , Antwerp (Belgium) and the Baltic (Finland and Russia).
In the port of Santander, Finnlines will work with the Cantabriasil agent, who had been the agent of UPM Kymmenne, whose shipping division was the one carried out by the transports to the Puerto Santander. The connection with Santander includes scales in five countries: Spain (Santander, Ferrol) France (Le Havre-Radicatel), United Kingdom (Hull), Finland (Helsinki, Kotka, Rauma) and Russia (St. Petersburg), also covering the rest to the rest of the Baltic ports. It will initially operate with Finnkraft, Finnhawk, Misana and Misada ships.
