The Aidamar arrived to Santander with about three thousand people on board-Press NOTE (09/27/2012)

On Thursday 27 at 7:00 in the morning, the Aidamar de la Naviera Aida Cruises, with 2,857 people, between passengers and crew, of which the majority are Germans, docked in the port of Santander.
This modern ship that was baptized just over 4 months ago in the city of Hamburg, has a 252 -meter length, a 32 -meter and 15 covered sleeves. Among others, passengers can enjoy 19 bars and rooms, basketball track, gym, ice skating track, jogging circuit, minigolf or tennis track.
The Aidamar is the first time that he arrives in Santander, so, fulfilling the tradition, he received a methopa that commemorates this first step through the Santander Puerto. Javier de la Riva, director of the port of Santander, was the one who delivered the plaque to the ship captain, Joerg Rudolf Miklitza.
The ship, which came from the French port of Le Havre, left at 5:00 p.m. to La Coruña. The Aidamar will have Palma de Mallorca as a base port of the month of October.
After the summer, the port of Santander has resumed the cruise season, and if it makes few dates he received the Deutschland, in the next few days the Aidablu and the Aidacara, on October 8 and 28, respectively. These ships also belong to the Rostock headquarters, Aida Cruises.
