Port services are those activities that are necessary for the operation of the ports and are aimed at making it possible to carry out the operations associated with maritime traffic, under conditions of safety, efficiency, regularity, continuity and non-discrimination, and which are carried out within the territorial scope of the Port Authorities.
The consideration of port service is established in Article 108.2 of the Consolidated Text of the State Ports and Merchant Marine Law.
