The new Varadero parking lot with 186 free places is already open at service. It is located at the intersection between Marqués de la Hermida and Heroes of the Navy.
This is the first action that takes place within the lands assigned because the port of Santander to the City Council, approximately 30,000 square meters, in which a seafront with bike lane, landscaped areas, parks and sports and children's areas are integrated.
The mayor of Santander, Íñigo de la Serna, and the president of the Port Authority, José Joaquín Martínez Sieso, were present at the opening of the parking lot and highlighted the importance that the actions will have for the entire Castilla-Hermid area that will transform This part of the city and will allow higher quality of life for neighbors.
