A retrospective on the last two decades of activity of the Rotary Club of Santander focuses on the exhibition shown in the Dispose Palace. Under the title '20 years to give of itself ... Rotarism in Cantabria ', will be exhibited until February 19. The event has been attended by the president of the port of Santander, José Joaquín Martínez Sieso, who has been accompanied by Manuel Benito, president of the Rotary Club of Torrelavega; Manuel Herreros, governor of the Northern District of the Rotary Club, as well as regional, partners and family authorities. In his speech, Martínez Sieso has highlighted the work of the four Rotary Club, who are in Cantabria and are protagonists of the exhibition. "It is for us an honor to collaborate and make possible this exhibition that does justice to his work both abroad and in Cantabria," said the president of the Port Authority of Santander. For his part, Manuel Benito has thanked the institutional and business collaboration, "which over the years has supported our projects that are today part of this exhibition." And as closing interventions, Manuel Herreros has taken the opportunity to recod installed in the Palace of the jetty. "In an event as prominent as the 20th anniversary of the Refoundation Club Rotary of Santander we want to publicize our work that extends internationally but also local," he said. The exhibition '20 years of giving itself ... The rotarismo in Cantabria 'is composed of panels that illustrate the solidarity projects carried out by the Rotary clubs of Santander, Torrelavega, Santander-Sardinero and Camargo. Among them, those developed in Africa or Central America stand out. The sample is completed singular pieces that, now, are part of the local history of the Cantabrian rotarios.
