The ‘Rysy’, with 60,000 tons of Ukrainian corn, beat the historical cereal record downloaded in the port of Santander-Press NOTE (12/19/2012)

The port of Santander will close the year with a historic record in cereal discharge, with the scale of the Rysy ship that brings 59,797 tons of corn from Ukraine. This ship arrived at the port of Santander on the night of December 19 and will remain at the dock of the agri -food solid bulk terminal (rate) until December 26.
The previous record in this type of merchandise dated 2007 when the Yilaia from the United States discharged 58,485 tons of wheat. Interestingly, this ship also arrived in Santander on December 19.
The Rysy will coincide in the port of Santander with the HAI Lu that also entered on December 19 to download the relevant amount of 65,000 tons of coal in the solid bulk terminal (NOATUM).
