Santander will offer, from January, more frequent connections to Dublin and Liverpool. The service, offered by CLdN, will have two weekly stopovers to Dublin with a transfer to Liverpool. Martín considers the news "a magnificent opportunity to continue improving the competitiveness of our hinterland in the positioning of European and international markets". Santander, December 14, 2022.- The Luxembourg company CLdN will have, from January, two weekly connections with Dublin with transshipment to Liverpool which will double the connections of the Cantabrian port with these two destinations. CLdN will also offer a higher frequency in the ferry service from Dublin to Liverpool, taking advantage of the synergies that have occurred after the acquisition by the Luxembourg company of Seatruck Ferries, which will also add a new ship to this service, the Seatruck Pennuts. For the president of the Port Authority of Santander, Francisco Martín, this is "magnificent news" that "will increase the logistic possibilities of our hinterland, especially for the companies of Castilla y León and Cantabria, improving their positioning in the European and international markets". Martin wanted to thank CLdN for "continuing to bet on Santander" since 2016, the year in which it began its activity in the port and highlighted the advantages of the Cantabrian infrastructure recalling that it is "leader in RoRo traffic on the Atlantic facade, with direct connection, through toll-free highways and regular rail services to the center of Spain which makes it a great option for operators." *About CLdN.
