The exhibition includes a selection of works that dialogue with the natural environment of the room and the lighthouse building itself, an ecosystem scourged by air, water and saltpeter, and with an afflicted present that shakes the artist's sensibility. María Villacorta presents a deep pictorial investigation using salt and paper to reflect on consolation, the duality of the world and the water cycle through an experimental language apprehended from natural processes and personal experience that tends to universality.
