The cruise ship "World Explorer", consigned by BERG, took place this morning at the Maritime Station where it was its first stopover in the port of Santander with 172 passengers, mostly Germans, on board.
The 126-metre-long cruiser entered the port at eight o'clock in the morning from Bordeaux and is scheduled to leave at six o'clock in the afternoon bound for the port of Gijón.
Most cruisers have opted for a panoramic tour of the city to get to know its main attractions, while others enjoy a walk through the market to check the atmosphere and get to know the local products.
As is the case at every stopover, and in the area of institutional collaboration required by this type of traffic, the Port Authority has had the support of both the regional government and the City Council to ensure the attention to the cruise.
