The port of Santander renews its fleet of vehicles with six electric vans The new vehicles aim to modernize the fleet of the Port Authority and adapt it to the environmental commitments acquired by the Port. The new electric vans, of the Renault Kangoo ZE brand, have been awarded to the Cantabrian company Vidal de la Peña Automóviles and represent an investment of 137,925.66 euros. The vans, which are in addition to the two Renault Zoe electric vehicles previously purchased, replace those purchased in 2003 and part of those of 2006, with six new electric vehicles that will help reduce environmental and noise pollution in the port as they have zero noise and zero emissions among their characteristics. In addition, they will be intended to improve the effectiveness of APS maintenance services.
